Legal Standing as a scientific journal wants to ensure that all authors are careful and comply with international academic integrity standards, especially regarding the issue of plagiarism.
Plagiarism occurs when a writer takes ideas, information, or words from another source without citing the source. Even if it occurs accidentally, plagiarism is still a serious academic violation and is unacceptable in international academic publications.
Basically, the writer's job is to only submit manuscripts that are free from plagiarism and academic malpractice. Editors, however, double check each article before publishing, we use the plagiarism checker turnitin.
Legal Standing takes academic integrity seriously, and the editors reserve the right to withdraw acceptance of papers that are found to violate the standards set out above. Legal Standing tolerates a maximum of 25% for plagiarism level, which has also been confirmed in the Peer Review Process, Editorial Office Assessment points.
